Hello

Hi, I’m Molly Childs, the founder of Parents Need Sleep. I am a certified sleep consultant with my level 6 accredidation through the London Scool of Childcare studies. I work with children from the ages of 6 months to help families get their lives back on track - bad sleep can have implacation on the whole family and I am here to help with that. 

My Story

I began my career working in a nursery, where I spent eight years supporting young children and their development. During that time, I gained my Level 3 childcare qualification and built a strong understanding of early childhood needs. I always knew I would return to working with children in some way, but I wasn’t quite sure what that would look like.

 

That changed when my sister had my nephew. Like many parents, she found sleep one of the biggest challenges, and I saw firsthand how overwhelming and confusing it could feel. What helped her most was simply having someone she trusted to talk things through with, someone who could help her understand why her baby wasn’t sleeping. Through her experience, I was introduced to sleep coaching and the positive impact it can have on the whole family.

Since then, more and more friends came to me with similar struggles, and I realised how much I wanted to support families through this stage. That’s what led me to train as a sleep practitioner with the London School of Childcare, where I qualified last year.

Now, I combine my childcare background with evidence-based sleep guidance to support families in a gentle, practical way, helping both children and parents get the rest they need.
